Parents are Partners
Parents are encouraged to become partners with the School Program. Since KSW recognizes that parents are the child's primary educator, it is imperative for us to work in conjunction with families.
Working together will make your family experience more valuable to you and your child. Parents are encouraged to participate in workshops, training sessions and parenting groups, to take full advantage of the program.
The KSW program offers a variety of training opportunities to parents throughout the calendar year. The program offers training to parents and community volunteers. These training are designed to give parents the opportunity to learn more about Child Growth and Development, and to become paid substitutes within the program.
